By having a computer with
any standard voice modem installed in it; IMRA Voice Operator Software (IVO)
handles the answering, recording, and call forwarding mission.
The IMRA Operator software
uses your voice modem to answer the incoming call and makes the caller hear
your preset greetings and menu options. The caller will then be able to
select his choice from the heard menu by dialing it from his touch tone
telephone.

Using your company's internal
PBX system, the modem will transfer the call to the desired caller selected
extension and the call management system- IVO -starts to take action in two
different ways:
1- Simple Call Divert
2- Curious Secretary Divert
-
After the user enters his
desired extension, the IVO asks the user to identify himself after the
beep. The user will then identify himself in a 5 seconds recording, after
which the software will ask the caller to hold while IVO tries to locate the caller's
selected user. Meanwhile, IVO calls your extension, you - as the
recipient- will
hear the caller's identification recorded voice, upon which you will have the
freedom of either accepting or rejecting the call by pressing (1) to accept or
(*) star to decline the call.
- If the recipient accepts
the call, a call conference will be made and thus the two parties will talk
together normally, and the modem will be freed to accept another call.
- If the recipient chooses
not to accept the call, then he will be prompted to hang up the line and thus
the caller will be transferred to your - the recipient's - voice mail where
the caller can leave a 20-second-recording message of his call purpose. After
that, the caller's message will be rehearsed back to him and the recipient's
thank you message will also be heard and IVO hangs up the line waiting for
another call.
NB. The user can always track his
recorded messages from IMRA Secretary Track Software and choose either to
delete, or save the messages that have been recorded.
IMRA Voice Operator software (IVO) has the following functionalities:

support for multi-user access.

and mailboxes can be created to use the system.
- Easy access to managers
to access users and groups messages.
- Forwards all voice
messages to the user's preferred mailbox.
- Compresses long messages
if sent by email, thus making long messages download faster.
- Freedom to specify user
preferences, as whether he wants the system to act as a normal secretary or as a
curious secretary.
- Ability to set the
system to ' Do Not Disturb' mode, thus if a user's extension is dialed by
the software, the caller will be automatically set on the answering
machine prompt and then his message will be displayed as an email on the
status screen for the recipient.
